Leo D’Angelo is a technology leader with deep expertise in SaaS development, systems architecture, and IT transformation. With a career spanning multiple industries including technology, financial services, telecommunications, and nonprofit, Leo has built a reputation for rescuing troubled IT systems and guiding organizations through complex M&A transactions.

Leo most recently served as Chief Technology Officer of Allied Payment Network, where he built the premier bill payment platform offering real-time bill payment solutions. Previously he served as CTO for OrangeLeap, a SaaS solution for nonproIts to manage fundraising. Over more than a decade, he drove the transition from a services-based model to an open-source SaaS product, ultimately leading the company through a successful sale and integration into YourCause LLC. Previously, Leo was CTO and Chief Security Officer at J2 Global Communications, where he redesigned the company’s network and application infrastructure to improve service quality and reduce costs. He also founded TimeShift, securing $10 million in funding while developing state-of-the-art communications commerce architecture, and has held senior technology leadership roles with Dragon Media Online and Fidelity Investments, where his work on the FIX protocol helped establish an industry standard still in use today.

Leo holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from St. Michael’s College in Burlington, VT, and is an active contributor to open-source software projects.
