Charlene has spent most of her professional career in healthcare leadership and management with over 15 years of experience focused on end-of-life care and hospice. She has served in senior leadership roles in various healthcare organizations leading operational and clinical improvements; restructuring; compliance; and the development of benchmarking tools. Charlene has developed policies and procedures for healthcare organizations that meet state, federal and accreditation standards and has led hospitals and hospices successfully through the accreditation process and multiple state and federal surveys.

Charlene’s career has enabled her to work with large and small hospitals, long term acute care hospitals, a range of small and regional hospice programs to corporate hospice providers with a national presence. She has practical experience in nursing issues, regulatory compliance, performance improvement initiatives, hospice, hospitals, and long-term acute care with a demonstrated commitment to quality and excellence and has served the hospice and hospice support industry through a wide range of services, including regulatory and operational support, quality assessment, and performance improvement.

Charlene has an MSN from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas, and an MBA from the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio. Charlene is a co-founder of R&C Healthcare Solutions.
