Curantis Solutions, LLC Launches Innovative Hospice Management Software at NHPCO Conference

  • News

Addison, Texas – (April 22, 2015) – A new company delivering seamless, integrated cloud-based hospice management software solutions announced it will operate under the name Curantis Solutions, LLC, and will be headquartered in Addison, Texas. Curantis is the Latin word for caregiver.

Curantis will make its entry into the $18 billion+ hospice sector at the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) Management and Leadership Conference April 28 through May 2, 2015 in National Harbor, Maryland.

Visitors to its exhibit (Booth #715) can trial the new software.

Created specifically for hospice by experts with deep industry expertise, Curantis’ complete suite of management solutions enables hospice companies to focus more on patients and less on paperwork.

Utilizing the latest in mobile technology, Curantis allows hospice companies to automate workflow, increase efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.

The vision for Curantis began when a leading nationwide hospice company turned to its founders to help overcome challenges existing hospice software solutions did not address. That company became Curantis’ first customer.

Curantis anticipates revenues will grow significantly in the next eighteen months.

“The hospice and palliative care segments play a vital role in delivery of quality healthcare in our country,” said John D. Carreker III, Chief Executive Officer and founder of Curantis Solutions.

The first hospice company launched in 1974. By 2013, the number of hospice agencies was estimated at 5,800, and growth is projected to be 7 – 10 percent per year for the next 20 years given the burgeoning need to serve the aging baby boomers.

“The growing requirements and challenges demand transformative innovation to bring caregiver-centric solutions built for the hospice industry. We selected the name Curantis because we are completely focused on enabling the caregiver to an entirely different level,” Carreker said.

“In today’s accountable healthcare environment, we will help hospice companies move from volume to value with seamless solutions for a continuum of care.”
